My Background
Art and music have been my lifelong passions, and once I learned about design as a career path, I set out to make that my living.
The first phase of my career was spent firmly in graphic design before breaking into the advertising industry, getting to build a far more robust set of skills in a variety of disciplines for a diverse group of clients.

After a time focusing on web design, I was able to move exclusively into client-side UX design, which I've been doing for the last eight years for a Forbes Top Bank and then Top 100 Place to Work within the commercial real estate industry. Learning and implementing Human Centered Design thinking, being able to be fully involved in research to synthesize into design has been an exciting, ever evolving discipline I continue to enjoy.

Working closely with UX Researchers and multiple business teams, I produce creative solutions to complex user needs for the ClarityFirst product, streamlining the escrow process within the commercial real estate industry. In addition to leading the Design Council which meets to standardize needed components within our design system, I manage and maintain that design system, while mentoring designers within the team alongside our Design Lead.

Implemented Human Centered Design metholodies to uncover member pain points within digital banking experiences. I was responsible for end to end project cycles including strategizing, conducting, and synthesizing research that then informed design decisions for a web and mobile app used daily by millions of members. One project in particular helped to retain milllions of member accounts from closure.
